Dear friends:
Many
people think that math is very boring and always torment your brain. Actually
this is not true. You can really enjoy in the world of math. I want to make my
blog full of fun, I want to tell you some interesting fact of math and some
interesting applications of math. Here are some blogs about math which I like
very much, I am glad to introduce them to you and I hope my blog can be as good
as these blogs.
1. Math Fail
This website dedicated to combing math with humor. Not
everything on this site consists of math fails (despite the name of the site),
in fact, probably only around 10-20% are actual math fail images. In
this blog you will find a huge collection of geeky math jokes, interesting math
facts, dumb math news, puzzles, speed math advice, math related comics, funny
math pictures and more!! If you are suffering from math, you can revenge
to math in this blog: make joke of math! Then you will find math is not boring.
You can find a lot of pictures, videos, links and it updates more than once,
you can always find something new here.
The author of
this blog is a mathematics teacher, a teacher trainer. So you can always get
something to learn here which is very interesting. For example, if you have
some trouble to remember the figure of some functions (like sin(x), tan(x)) you
can be help with picture below:
The blog is
updated almost every day, so come here and learn something new!
This blog is somehow
professional, tending to solve some problems when study or teaching math. The mission
of the Republic of Mathematics is to to provide solutions of value to
teachers and learners of mathematics. The credo of the Republic of Mathematics
is that mathematics can be learned deeply and joyfully when it is taught and
approached in an open spirit, with an inquiring mind and heart. The study of mathematics
can, and should, enrich and empower the human, mind, heart and spirit. Unfortunately this blog doesn’t update
very frequently, almost once per mouth, but the picture is very funny, I am
sure you will love it.
4. MY DIGITALNOTEBOOK
4. MY DIGITALNOTEBOOK
The author of this blog
is a student of math(so am I), he just share some interesting things he met
when he studied math, some understanding of his own. When we study something
all by ourselves, we can’t understand every aspect, so we should communicate with
each other and share our understanding together. He also gave some proofs of
some problems which may not be very important but very interesting, like: “Irrational
numbers are those real numbers which are not rational numbers!” It’s a pity
that this blog hasn’t been updated for about a year but if you are interested
in math you can still get something useful.
Actually this
website is more like a post web rather a personal blog, because many people
post their entries here. It's a Chinese website. These entries are almost cover very aspects of our
life not seriously but for fun. They use math to analysis the issues around us
like: How many initial numbers are need if you can get the unique solution when
you play Sudoku game, where should you click first when you play the mine
sweeping games, etc. You can find the answers here. It update every day you can
always find the article that you are interested in.
Hoping these websites are useful for you, I want my blog to be as good as these blogs with your help. Let's collaborate:
and stay positive:
