How the enjoy the fresh mathematics


Anyone can learn math whether they're in higher math at school or just looking to brush up on the basics. Many people are intimidated by math, but learning to be good at math is a matter of putting in the effort. As with most things, the key to improvement lies in hard work and plenty of practice, along with the ability to do some memorization.

1.       Start with understanding and memorization. Although the school system seems to discourage memorization as a way to learn spelling and math, it can work. Only you remember the basic definition and the themes, you can use them as you want, and understanding helps you remember and tell you where you can use the themes and how to use them.

2.       Practice. Much like we didn't all drive a car perfectly the first time we tried, math also takes practice. It is not necessary to be exact, just to work on math. As your math skills improve, you will get closer to the actual price. Make random math problems for yourself on a sheet of paper and do the math without using a calculator. Then, use the calculator to check your work. Getting to be good at math is mostly just a matter of memorization and practice.

3.       Don't say "I think I knew that." To learn, you must do the work yourself.  You should know what you know and what you don't. Math will never cheat you, but people can cheat themselves. Many copy the solutions manual or a friend’s work and think "I see how it's done. I can do that." But actually you still can’t solve the problems, even you remember for a short time, you may forget easily. The proof of your ability to do it is doing it all by yourself.

4.       “Why ” all the time. Learn how to ask why when you are puzzled. Some themes in math are hard to understand at first you learn them, so ask yourself why the themes come out: what they are about; what they can do; what the limit. If you can answer all the questions. Congratulation to you. If you don’t think by yourself, if you still can’t, ask somebody for help.

Learning math well just needs understanding; remembering; practicing and a little bit patient. Try as you can, everybody can learn math well. So do you have any unique way to learn math well? Please teach me.

Thank you yesterday, thank you today, thank you every day in my life


  Everyone should have someone or something to be thankful for. My parents give my life, give a chance to feel the fantastic world. My friends keep you company when I am alone. Even the strangers I feel thankful for, because they might be my friends in the future. And here is some one that we often forget to thank, it’s ourselves.
     It’s yourself who suffer the worst time, who share the happiness together with you in your life. It’s yourself who feel the light and dark, the warm and cold together with you in your life. It’s yourself who share the laugh and the tears together with you in your life.
      
 When you success, squat to your shadow and say:” Thank you for making so much effort.”
         When you suffer, squat to your shadow and say:” Thank you for never giving up.”
         When you are tried, squat to your shadow and say:” Thank you for trying so hard.”
         Thank you yesterday, thank you today, thank you every day in my life…

Some pieces of my life


Lunch
The best motivation to cook is hunger. Human beings have spent thousands of years to reach the top of the food chain. You can choose what you eat and how you cook. Cooking is the adventure of taste and the satisfaction of mouth and satisfaction.

Desk
The desk may be the first place to show the talent of art for some student. Although it’s forbidden and harm to the desk, it’s still very interesting. We even give a name to the scrawl: desk culture. It'a pity that I can't draw as good as this below:


Favourite piece of clothes
This is my favourite advertisement: Brief but not simple. Brief is an attitude to deal with the world. It is a complex world you can’t make everything simple, but you can make yourself brief, just like how you dress.
 
Shoes
Only the feet know whether you shoes are comfortable or not. There are many shoes look very beautiful, but suffer you a lot. Some shoes may fit some people but not you. The most important thing is to find shoes for you.
 
Roommate
This photo is taken few days before Halloween day. This is my roommate and his huge achievement for celebrate Halloween. It’s very excited to make a pumpkin cave. By the way the pumpkin is made in front of the Language institute.
 
Writing
It’s always my pain that my hand writing is ugly. I have tried many times practicing writing, but I didn’t success.This beautiful hand writing never belongs to me.
Tree
She is a fire tree in the autumn. She gives its green and vitality to the summer. Now she is giving her passion to the autumn. She is a fire now, she gives all her love and passion and her last dance this year.
Discovery
I was told what inside is the secret recipe of Coca Cola. But I think there is nothing inside. Even if the recipe exists, it shouldn’t be kept in such a public place where even somebody like me can get close. But anyway Coca Cola tastes good and the museum is very interesting.

Amazing mathematics in nature


   Nature is a great mathematician. There is so much amazing mathematics in nature. And many creatures are also very good at mathematics(sometimes even better than me). So let’s take a look at some of these wonderful facts in nature:

    The sequence: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89… from the third number , the number is the sum of the two numbers right before it. This sequence is called Fibonacci number.     The one end of the honeycomb is a closed hexagonal Ling conical bottom port, is composed of three identical diamond, diamond obtuse angle is 109°28 . 6 side wall width is exactly the same, the angle between the wall just 120 degrees. All the honey in the world built their comb according to these rules. Because these rules helps the honey to get the largest space with the minimum material!


      Most cats sleeps like this. They roll up their body like a ball, especially when they are cold. When they do this the surface expose in the air is the minimum, so the heat loses in the air is the least. For the same reason when you feel cold in your bed you cuddle up.
    Coral is very good at counting. Every day goes past coral draw a circle on itself just like the annual ring in the trees. Some paleontologist have found that coral drew more than 400 circles per year a million years ago, which means there were more than 400 days per year and there were only 21.9 hours a day. 

Ants are excellent coworkers. They can distribute their jobs wisely. If you give two piece of food to the ant, one is twice bigger than the other. Several minutes later, you will find the number of the ants around the bigger food is almost the twice as the ants around the smaller one. By the way, it is found that the ant can remember how many steps the left their nest, and they always try to find the nearest way to their food.

Does these facts surprise you ? There are just a little part of the amazing math in nature. I am sure humans will find more about that.

This I believe

   Everyone is the God of his own
   I believe in friendship, love, beauty, art, parents, friends etc. But first I believe in myself, I believe I can have these wonders in my life. My life is mine, not yours, not anyone else’s. Your life is yours, not mine, not anyone else’s. Sometimes we may share some parts of our lives with others. When we were we share our lives with parents, then with friends, then family. But you can’t share your whole life with anyone else, nobody can. It’s you who live your life. Nobody can live your life instead of you. You are the unique wonder in your life. Believe in yourself, you are the only god in your life.
    You are the one who should be responsible for your life. You choose the way how you live. You choose to make effort or not. You choose to succeed or not. Yes, we can’t to choose everything about ourselves, but what you can choose is much enough to change who you are what life you live. A tree can't choose where he grows, but he can choose to stretch root deep to the earth, grow tall to the sunshine, or it can choose to creep with the grass.You can always change something if you are eager enough. It’s you who make your life as it is.
   Life can never be the way as you wish. But you can make changes. Life is like a pen, nobody know how long it can write, maybe one sentence, a page or a whole story. You can choose to write something as you want even if you don’t know whether you can finish the next sentence or you can write nothing, leaving the pen drying. There are truly some problems we can’t solve in our leave. So what? The sun goes up and down every day and our leave goes on every moment. When you hardly bear something, your situation may be like this:

The blogs about math that I like very much


Dear friends:
         Many people think that math is very boring and always torment your brain. Actually this is not true. You can really enjoy in the world of math. I want to make my blog full of fun, I want to tell you some interesting fact of math and some interesting applications of math. Here are some blogs about math which I like very much, I am glad to introduce them to you and I hope my blog can be as good as these blogs.
1.  Math Fail 
This website dedicated to combing math with humor. Not everything on this site consists of math fails (despite the name of the site), in fact, probably only around 10-20% are actual math fail images. In this blog you will find a huge collection of geeky math jokes, interesting math facts, dumb math news, puzzles, speed math advice, math related comics, funny math pictures and more!! If you are suffering from math, you can revenge to math in this blog: make joke of math! Then you will find math is not boring. You can find a lot of pictures, videos, links and it updates more than once, you can always find something new here.

The author of this blog is a mathematics teacher, a teacher trainer. So you can always get something to learn here which is very interesting. For example, if you have some trouble to remember the figure of some functions (like sin(x), tan(x)) you can be help with picture below:

3.       Republic Of Mathematics  

This blog is somehow professional, tending to solve some problems when study or teaching math. The mission of the Republic of Mathematics is to to provide solutions of value to teachers and learners of mathematics. The credo of the Republic of Mathematics is that mathematics can be learned deeply and joyfully when it is taught and approached in an open spirit, with an inquiring mind and heart. The study of mathematics can, and should, enrich and empower the human, mind, heart and spirit. Unfortunately this blog doesn’t update very frequently, almost once per mouth, but the picture is very funny, I am sure you will love it.
4.       MY DIGITALNOTEBOOK   
The author of this blog is a student of math(so am I), he just share some interesting things he met when he studied math, some understanding of his own. When we study something all by ourselves, we can’t understand every aspect, so we should communicate with each other and share our understanding together. He also gave some proofs of some problems which may not be very important but very interesting, like: Irrational numbers are those real numbers which are not rational numbers!” It’s a pity that this blog hasn’t been updated for about a year but if you are interested in math you can still get something useful.
5.       Guokr   
Actually this website is more like a post web rather a personal blog, because many people post their entries here. It's a Chinese website. These entries are almost cover very aspects of our life not seriously but for fun. They use math to analysis the issues around us like: How many initial numbers are need if you can get the unique solution when you play Sudoku game, where should you click first when you play the mine sweeping games, etc. You can find the answers here. It update every day you can always find the article that you are interested in.

    Hello everyone, I am very excited to be here with you to share the enjoy of mathematics and life. I am so happy that you launch my blog and share my enjoy with each other.
This blog is about some interesting parts of math and some simply applications of life in our daily life. Math can be very easy and useful in our daily life and there are many interesting anecdotes about math and Mathematicians.
Here is a story about René Descartes. He had been to Sweden and met Christina, the princess of Sweden. They fallen in love with each other because both of them loved math so much. But the King of Sweden didn’t allow them to stay together because he thought René Descartes was too shabby and confiscated all the letters they communicated with each other. Before René Descartes dead, he wrote his last letter to Christina: r=a(1-sinθ). The king and minister didn't understand the letter so they gave the letter to Christina. She draw the picture of the formula, only she herself got the meaning of letter: LOVE.
 

This is just one interesting story about math, it might not be true. But I’d rather to trust it. At last welcome to leave comments and questions. I’d like to share your thoughts.
